which am2 cpu?

the amd 4000 or the 4200? is a 2.0 cpu with 1mb better than a 2.2?

4000+, going to overclock just as well as a X2 3800+ and will perform better. But if you want to be cheap, wait a few weeks, the price is going to drop dramatically.
