I'd like to test eyefinity with the 5450. If the card doesn't have display port that means no eyefinity?

While the HD5450 supports dual displays (even the single-slot fanless versions do that), despite three outputs, it won't support all three at once. The limitation is a GPU limitation, not a port limitation. The lowest-end Eyefinity-supporting AMD GPU is in the HD56xx series.

Take note, though; you may need to adjust the display IDs (via CCC) in a multi-display (either dual or Eyefinity) if you use the HDMI port. The reason for this is that HDMI has priority over other ports (DVI, D-sub/VGA, or DisplayPort) if used.

Lastly, what advantages, if any, does DisplayPort have over HDMI in particular? (From what I've seen, there aren't that many monitors, at least for sale in North America, that support DisplayPort vs. even VGA or HDMI. Further, I tend to prefer multiple-input monitors; given that even budget displays, such as those from Acer, support HDMI, and even audio over HDMI, such a display can obviate the need or desire for a KVM switch.
