Which 4870x2 10.10 driver needed?

I have a 4870x2, recently did a fresh install of win7 pro x64 and was unsure as to which 10.10 driver is correct.

Should I go with the standard driver or the one with APP (Accelerated Parallel Processing)? I would assume that the seperate profiles are only applicable to the APP driver? Do I need to use the 10.10a drivers for a x2 card?

When I try to install the x64 app drivers, I do a custom install of everything listed except the opt-in communication, but the computer blue screens. Any idea what Im doing wrong?

I just want to get the most out of my card. Thanks for the help.
 
I used the 10.10 betas for a while. These were OK, except in FFXIV I was hitting 109c, causing the screen to flicker. I thought it was a card issue, so I swapped my Sapphire for my VisionTEK, same results...109c after about 30 min of gaming.

I had to back down to the 10.5.

I did reinstall the 10.10 release, and everything seems to be fine. GPU's are still skyrocketing in temps, but the gameplay seems to be fine.

I got the larger of the 2 downloads - the APP one. Installed right over top of my 10.5's.
 
I've been using the 10.10 drivers with my dual 4870x2s for a few days now and they are working great.
 
When i first installed them i got a black screen and had to reboot. Then had some problems with serious sam HD the first time i ran it. Other than that, I did notice a little boost on my 4850x2
 
Issues with my 4870X2 such as game lockups forced reset, CTD's (primarily on WoW and SC2) and BSOD a few times on booting into windows on the 10.10's
 
Unless you're using some OpenCL apps, don't worry about the drive with APP. It's the version with AMD's OpenCL driver merged in with the graphics package. No games use OpenCL yet, so it's not necessary for the vast majority.

The 10.10a are the same as the 10.10 WHQL, but with a few 6800 specific improvements. Either one will basically be the same for you.

The profile package will work with any driver. It's just a collection of small tweaks for games that gets loaded when needed.
