21:9 29"=wider 23", consoles do not support 21:9 resolutions and the1440p monitors are better anyway.
List of the best 1440p Monitors. I recommend the EV2736W since it is glow free, followed by the EA274WMi>VP2770, BL2710PT and iiyama XB2779QS but be warned, it uses Plasma Deposition Coating, though the ZR24W has awful black levels so the iiyama XB2779QS will likely be a huge improvement.

The U2713HM suffers from regular quality control issue (light bleeding and pixel issues) as well as matte coating cross-hatching, image retention and some revisions suffer from really obvious overshoot ghosting. The U2713H is one of the worst 1440p monitors for gaming. This information is from the list I linked you to.
