Which 22" value LCD is the best?

People posting with personal experiences with some of these monitors would be awesome.

Requirements:
Good refresh rate (85 or more?)
Low response time so I don't really notice ghosting in games and movies.
Looks.. well.. great.
Not many dead pixel reports.
I am staying between $270 and $340. $310 and under preferred.

Out of my range, yes. I want to try to stay between 270-340.

Also have to consider that Newegg tags TN residents with sales tax. So alt sites welcome!

Are there any 22" screens with S-IPS panels? I have not seen any listed in any specification sites yet.

Does anyone know what response times are on these monitors? I'd be supprised if any were over 75Hz and even more supprised if 75Hz actually does what it is supposed to. I can't remember where it was now but I read an article that tested refresh rates on LCD monitors.Most that state 75Hz were false and the very few that were not did not work properly so unless they're really high (100-120) and proven to be a great improvement I wouldn't worry about this aspect of LCDs.

refresh rate on an LCD is a silly concept. The need for a high refresh rate is not needed since the LCD does not refresh the screen the same way a CRT does. Since an LCD does not need to refresh a pixel like a CRT.

I'd go with the sceptre for the on the cheap 22"ers at the moment...check out the information thread and see what features you like the best.
