Which 1680x1050 monitor (20" or 22")?

I am looking for a new LCD used mostly for text, web, some multimedia (but not a hardcore DVD box) and a couple of games. I am coming from a 17" 4:3 Samsung 710N, and I am using a Samsung 940MW 19" WS for now that is also a TV, but would like to return it to using it as a TV. I see that I need at least 1024 pixels in the vertical as anything less is too crammed. I am looking for 19"/20" 4:3, or 20"/22" WS. I would say my budget is $350 shipped.

Almost all 22" monitors have TN panels. A non-TN 20" LCD will be better quality. Unless you strongly prefer the looser dot pitch of a 22" or feel you need a very fast response time for your games, I'd suggest a 20" monitor.

Look at these displays:

20.1" HP LP2065 (1600 x 1200) 4:3 aspect ratio
Panel: S-IPS/AMVA

22" LG L226WTY (1680 x 1050) 16:10 aspect ratio
Panel: TN

22" ViewSonic VX2255wmb (1680 x 1050) 16:10 aspect ratio
Panel: TN

22" Acer AL2216Wbd (1680 x 1050) 16:10 aspect ratio
Panel: TN

Are there any 20" WS with 1680x1050, either good TN panel or IPS? I just don't want text to be too small where it is hard to read it. The Samsung 710N had 12ms response and the 940MW has 8ms and I don't notice any ghosting, so I could probably get away with as high as 6ms time.

I have decided to get the Samsung 2253LW because 20" WS resolution is too high and text would be too small (plus there is nowhere I can actually see a 20" WS in action). I don't want to go 24" WS because they are too big for what I need. I am choosing 2253LW over the 2253BW because it is only 21.6" WS and dot pitch is a bit better at .276 vs .285. I also do not want to spend a lot on an IPS because I am not a graphic artist and don't need exact color and most of the time I spend is directly in front of the monitor so viewing angle problems should be minimal.
