I'm running a Danger Den Black Ice Xtreme 120mm Radiator in my cooling loop. I've got a YS Tech 120x38mm Fan pulling air through it. This fan is rated at 125.5cfm@2800rpm. It seems to do a good job of keeping the coolant cool (39-40C processor temps on FX-55). The only problem is, this thing is LOUD! It sounds like a jet engine is running in my room, all the time. Is there another option out there that will still get me pretty good performance without defening me? Advice needed.

(panaflow 120x38 medium speed, there is a high speed model that would be quieter probally than the one you have and closer to same output CFM but I didnt have a handy link to it. Think is is same model number but with a H instead of a M )

or put a speed control on the one you have or run it on 7 volts by connecting the fan ground wire to the +5
