Where's the dual boot option for XP?

I have Win98 on C: and WinXP on F: and I've been told that I should get a screen asking me which OS I would like to boot to but I don't ever get it.

Is this true?

How did you install the OS's? When you installed XP, it should have detected the 98 install, and installed a bootloader. How do you switch OS's now?

I disabled the old drive in the bios. Apparently WinXP still found it and labeled the new drive F and left the old drive at C.

I left both of the drives jumpers at channel select as well.

Re-install XP on the F: drive, but don't shut the first drive off in the BIOS.

Can't you just add a line to the c:\boot.ini file?

Eg:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows 98" /fastdetect

All on one line though...
