I'm getting nervous, hopefully I'm just forgetting something stupid. I installed vista beta 2 on a new partition and it's working (I'm using it now). But, how do I get back to XP, it doesn't give me an option of which one to choose when I boot... Did I screw something up, please help me out.

The XP data is still there, but Vista pooch screws the XP bootloader, in other words, the system does not know that XP is there. You can rebuild the boot loader for XP though with a couple of command line tools...I can barely stay awake at the moment, a quick search will teach you which commands...

If you install Vista through your XP environment (in other words, do NOT boot to the Vista DVD...instead load the disk while running XP and begin the install from there) the Vista bootloader will see the "legacy OS" and give you the bootscreen option.
You can't play with the Vista bootloader through boot.ini any longer but VistabootPRO lets you play around.

Good luck.
