Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I was looking at the 480 for the wife but decided to go 470. I was afraid I might get tempted to take the 480 and give her my 290 but the ROPs are keeping me from doing so. So I will get her the 470 and I wont be tempted at all.
I gave up on waiting. My wife was glaring at me as her PC sat in pieces waiting to get a new GPU so she could use it. I ordered her a new GPU. This is kind of funny, but here's how this went.
Bought EVGA GTX 750ti about a year ago - $90
Sold the 750ti last week - $100 (lol, yep!)
Purchased EVGA GTX 950 tonight - $100 (roughly 50% performance boost, should max out World of Warcraft easily)
The above card comes with codes for $50 in-game cash in both Warframe and World of Warships. Should be able to sell those to recoup a large chunk of the GTX 950 purchase.
So, she'll be set in a week or so when it arrives (4th weekend kills shipping times). And it really didn't cost me anything to do this. Might end up turning a decent profit.
