So last week, I was not around really.
Went to get a CAT scan done cause I was starting to get very severe migranes which were causing my to collapse in the middle of doing stuff and go unconcious / black out for periods of time. Kept giving my wife and parents scares in doing so, especially when I got one driving with my wife to the store, she had to grab the wheel when I blacked out, and slammed on the ebrake (lucky to have a smart girl for a wife).
I had been having the migranes since I was 10 but never really serious, just annoying.
So I went to neurologist who suggested the CAT. Had it done.
Immediatly realized I had an Aneurysm, a bubble of blood had formed in the blood vessels in my head and started causing pressure against the occipital lobe which was causing me to have severe pain behind my eyes and total loss of vision which cause me to black out due to the pain. THe pain was becomming to severe, that I would just black out entirely.
Doctors found it, and immediatly performed a very fast surgery which included a tiny drill bit and a large needle (not large in width, but in length) which was inserted into the rear of my skull and drained the bubble, and than remove the remaining growth.... I dont remember anything that happened obviously cause I was knocked the f*%& out.
Anyway, happened Monday, was not allowed to touch a PC, watch TV, listen to music, couldnt use the phone, wasnt even allowed to use lights cause they wanted me to focus on sleep and if anything, reading. That was it.
Boring week.
Anyway, the doctors do believe the Aneurysm was a major cause of the more devistating migranes, but was not the cause of my regular migranes.
My regular doctor believes that I also ended up having an addiction to the migrane medication I was on, cause I was taking about 2 pills a day, which she believes cause a dependancy on them. Now I had to detox from them, but unfortunatly, can cause long-term to permanent headaches that are, well, always there. So currently I live with constant pain, but I dont feel it much anymore (mainly cause im used to it now).
Well, at least one thing is solved and I can move on from the major debilitating headaches to just sticking with livable, but still very annoying pain!

I wish there was a real life Dr. House, I'm tired of having migraines at least 3-4 days a week with no discernible cause. Migraine meds do nothing for me (I've tried about 5 or 6 of them). Sometimes ibuprofin works (liquid Advil capsules), sometimes Excedrin Migraine works. Worst days, neither works.
