Where to get stiff hinges.

I'm going to be doing a couple projects in the near future that I would like to be able to fold away, so I'm looking for some hinges that hold their position like laptop hinges. Any ideas? Otherwise, I'll just end up using a regular hinge and a brace or something.
 
Home Depot/Lowes will have hinges like that. I used mirror hinges for something I was working on for that.
 
A normal hammer is an easy way to make any hinge stiffer than originally designed. All you have to do it make both sides of the hinge "grab" the pin a little tighter.
