where to get barebook?

ok does anybody know where i can buy laptop cases or barebooks? i am looking on newegg and tiger direct but i cant find em anywhere? anyone know of any good reputable sites, or if they are even for sale anywhere?
 
I assume your referring to a bare bones laptop (just add ram, CPU, and hard drive). You use to be able to buy them and I think newegg even carried a few years ago. Not sure where you would be able to buy one these day as I stopped looking at them. At the time it wasn't worth it and was cheaper to buy one configured the way I wanted it with a warranty.

If your just looking for something different I would suggest looking at Sager.

Basically what you need to do is look for notebooks from clevo the mother manufacturer for a lot of mainstream notebooks (including sager).
 
xoticpc.com has some laptop barebones. I haven't checked their current offerings of late, but they do have them
