I am contemplating doing a briefcase mod, but have no idea where to acquire one. Are there specific brands that I should be looking for? Any online retailers that sell a nice one? Any help is appreciated.
 
EBay, or dumpster dive. Thats where I found mine. Oh and a guy on the forum a couple weeks found a really nice one for really cheap at a second hand store and what not.
 
Grab a Prada breifcase! Only $1500 at your local Prada boutique! I saw a briefcase made by Oakley that was made of Titainium and had cool looking rivets everywhere. Its not for sale on the website, but you could find one on Ebay.

lol, I'm trying to keep the briefcase UNDER the cost of the system I'll be putting in there, but thanks for the suggestion. :p

well you can still do that with that briefcase, just buy more expensive parts ;)
 
Check Staples, i saw some there. Or maybe Office Max
 
You can pick one up at home depot for $20.
It's not the best quality one out there, but it's only $20.
It's basically thin aluminum over cardboard. There are quite a few briefcase mods based off this one.

i recently bought 3 aluminum ones at the dollar store around here for $1 a piece :)
 
Those harbor freight styles work fine, that's what mines in, just avoid cutting the thicker alluminum molding at all costs, and whenever possible cut with rounded corners.
