Hey,

I have 159 workstations with Windows XP installed on them. I want to make a ghost image after applying all the other software, I want to the licenses to all be compliant. I would like to change the registry to prompt me to include the license once the image is restored, but don't know which key to edit. I tried editing the LM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWSNT\CURRENTVERSION\WPAEVENTS but everytime I reboot, the changes I make are replaced with the original ones. Does anyone know of an easier way to accomplish this?

If you use Sysprep, by default, it will prompt you for the key when you boot the re-imaged PC up the first time. Considering you have 159 PCs, you should be using a VLK, so this shouldn't even be an issue.
