i need some standard SATA molex power plugs so that i can rewire my power supply, the wires are WAY too long. i cant for the life of me find any website that sells only the crimp on plug ends. every search turns up half a million results for adapters of all sorts, even ebay is useless for SATA power connectors.

im looking for this- which i believe is the in-line-crimp on, i also need some of the type that terminate a cable end...

if anyone knows of a secret website that sells this stuff it would be appreciated. digikey had nothing, mouser had no products from molex stocked. thanks.

Yeah I was just looking for these too!

Would appreciate it if someone knew, I'm looking at shortening the fan and front panel status cables, so I need the crimp on pins. I know performance PCs has them but is there anywhere cheaper?

You should've tried the "Check Distributor Inventory" link on that page:

I was speaking from experience. A project or two ago I was pulling my hair out trying to google a part with no luck when the damn answer was staring at me the entire time. :) Post pics of the results when you're done!

Why not just unsolder the wires from the front panel and the fan, shorten the wires to the desired length, and then solder them back on?

Easier, quicker, and cheaper unless you already own the special crimper to crimp them on properly.

I would but its a Norco rackmount case that has Molex connectors on both sides of the wire unfortunately. I could take off the headers and solder them on but I would like to leave some modularity to the case.
