Hi I'm trying to find a replacement IHS for my i5-4690k because my friend seems to have somehow bent my original IHS out out shape during a delid that even though the CPU still posts and can boot into windows the bent out shape IHS seems to be causing severe over heating issues even with liquid metal... anyway I need to find either an aftermarket IHS that's compatible with the I5-4690k or a original IHS from a Haswelll or Devil's cayon CPU that isn't bent out of shape and is compatible with my i5-4690k any idea where I could get one?

I'm only seeing ones made for Skylake and Kabylake... Do you think Skylake/Kabylake is close enough to Haswell that it would work with My i5-4690k?

I believe the Skylake and Kabylake IHS are slightly thicker due to a thinner PCB, so it probably will not work without shaving some off

My only thoughts would be buying a dead chip off ebay. Snag something from a dead pentium chip (not sure if the IHS would be the same)
