Also how do I post to other forums? The post button does not appear when I click on other forums.

The question is:

I have a file extension .fxx that I have associated with a batch file xyz.bat that call a custom Microsoft Access 2013 program and passes that program a variable at startup (currently hard coded). What I need is the filename with path to the file that the user clicked on so that I can use that variable to pass to my custom asccess program instead of the hard coded variable.

If a batch file can not get the calling program than I guess I could use powershell but I would still need the code to acquire the calling file.
