What I mean is compared to the older series. Like the 9500, 9600, 9700, 9800, etc. Where do the newer X300, X600, X700, etc. fall in. What are they better than/worse than. Thanks!

X700 is above 9800 Pro/XT, X600 is around 9600 range or better, X300 is low-end range (although equivalent to FX 5600 I'd say, though), just a general synopsis of their abilities.

Alright...How much of an improvement would I have from a 9800pro to a X700? Or should I just go X800?

The X700XT looks to boast a 7500 3dmark03 score (I think thats what I've seen in previews so far, correct me if I'm wrong), so while it's an improvement over the 9800 Pro, it's not a big one. You'd be much better off with an X800 pro if you can swing it.

Not to mention that the x700 is just a PCI-E board only. Have not heard anything revalent to show that they wil release an AGP version, which means you're out of luck on this card unless they do, or you upgrade your system to PCI-E.

There will eventually be a AGP version of the X700, but if you're planning on sticking AGP then X800 is your best bet. ;)

The X700 is a significant improvement over 9800-series.

x700xt actually boasts around a 8200-8400 3dmark03, so it's a great deal over a 9800 pro that usually get around 5500-6000
