I was looking at your design thread from the Xtremesystems forums and I have a few comments.
Since this is a starter business for you, you may want to look at production costs, as well as, overall functionalty/asthetics. Looking at everything you have put together, it looks like alot of work for each unit. Specifically, too much work for any profit you want to make.
Sometimes, you need to present a basic canvas and give the creative reigns to the users.
First off, I am not a fan of external cooling systems. But that being said, you could design a case add-on that would not look like a stealth bomber landed on your PC (sorry to be blunt), and some people, like myself, use the top of the PC as a shelf lol.
As far as design, the farther you move away from a "shoebox" design, the higher your production costs go. All the extra cuts and bends do add up when you make 20+ units and your finishing quality becomes compromised.
Secondly, you should look at making a cooling base design, instead of a top mounted product. Not only would a cooling base keep it's shoebox form, but it would also support almost any type of case design. It would also keep tubing and wires hidden, routing them through the top of the base into the bottom shelf of a PC.
The basic cuts would be a one-peice cut for the basic structure, one for the bottom tray, and then some opening cuts:
1) 4 sides and the top, bent and riveted to the top (rivets facing up, hidden when the PC is mounted)
2) 1 bottom tray which would have the feet and mounting hardware for the pump, rad, resevoir. Being able to mount everything to a bottom tray would make installation and upgrades much easier.
3) 1 cut for the rad opening on both the left and right side. (Fill it with modders mesh and then mount the rad(s) against the mesh with the fans on the inside blowing out) This will allow you to order it with a single or dual rad setup.
4) 1 cut in the front for a temp LCD dispay or a fan controller.
5) 1 cut in the rear for an intake fan.
All the user would need is gromets for the tubes and the power cable, and a cutting template for the bottom of their existing case. Very cheap accessories to provide, and it would keep the esthetics of an enclosed system.
Install mounting brackets and hardware that could accomodate various sizes of rads, pumps and resevoirs.
Also, aside from the cutting of the material, you can do everything else yourself. Bending, drilling, riveting, painting, assembally...
As for the business side, if you could assemble these kits for under $50 plus cooling gear, you could have a marketable product. You can offer options for your kits such as temp guage, fan controller, 2nd rad, color matching, logo etching, anodizing/powdercoating, complete kits (basic cooling, performance cooling, extreme cooling), bare chassis kits, steel/aluminum...
