where can I safely download a copy of XP?

a friend has borked his Dell laptop and needs to re install Windows XP. he does not have the original disk and I have no copies of XP. I assume there has to be a safe and legitimate place to download Windows XP 32 bit SP3 for iso. I also assume his key will work with any Windows XP 32 bit SP3 install.
 
found a link over at mydigitallife.info for XP Home 32 bit SP3 OEM and installed and activated using the Dells product key just fine. :)
