You can't. Unless you bought CS:CZ or have a hl2 cupon you can't get the CS: Source beta. If you can't get the CS: Source beta you can't get the VST.

you can still buy cs:cz and get in to the beta?

regardless of the beta though, ima hijack the thread really fast, is cs:cz worth buying?

Yeah, you can still buy CS:CZ and get into the beta. All you need is a valid CS:CZ key. If you don't feel like paying full price for CZ, try bidding on a key on e-bay. You can get a key for about half price and still get full access to CS:CZ and CS: Source. Make sure the seller has a good reputation before you bid, though.

CS:CZ is worth it if you want a graphical update for CS, or if you want to play CS offline. You get alot of content with CS:CZ but not all of it is that good.

CS:S is alot of fun too; they did a good job of balancing the weapons so that nearly all of them are at least somewhat useful. The graphics are real nice too, and the physics is fun to play with.

As far as I know you can. CS: CZ is worth buying if you like CS.

lol thats an understatement. I can't count how many times i've been killed by someone while i was playing around shooting barrels or something.

i have a prejudice against CS. we won't go into it. i just want the stress because i like to give my video card hell. :)

and who got the PM? not me. =(

1) yes. 2) download steam and go to browse games and there should be a button to register a product you currently own.
