How come I haven't seen any of ATI's new cards out in any stores? The only card I'm really interested in is the X1800 XT, and I can't figure out when this card is going to be officially available in stores. Does anyone know when this card will be made available?
 
They said the XT wont be released until Nov 15 I think. Its sometime in mid-November. The Xl is starting to makes it way all over the place now. I have yet to see Newegg run out of them. Not sure if its because no one is buying them, or they just have a good supply of them. The X1600 wont be availiable to the end of November they said. And the X1300 should be available now, so I dont know where that card is.
 
Read any of the reivews, and its easy to see. Its common knowledge that Nov. 5th is when they are supposed to be out.

If you are looking for them in B&M stores I'm not suprised that you can't find them. How often do you see the top of the line cards at B&M stores... i have personally never seen one. Once the XT comes out, you might fight a couple xl's at best buy or fry's, but i'd even doubt that.

X1800XL is available in retail and has been for several weeks.

Yeah, i agree. But there is a Canada Computer store where Ilive, and they have everything and anything for a computer. In fact they had 10 xl's on their online stock and a few dispersed around their other store locations.

Sorry moose, but I just can't stand it when people are so ignorant and they ask the same question over and over again. Sticky "November 5th=ATI X1800XT" in the ATI forum or someting to stop these sort of threads from popping up.

Actually it is the responsibility of each poster on this board to try his/her best not to duplicate threads. If I had a sticky for every question that got asked 500 times per week, the first page would be full.

In the future, just don't answer the thread if it bothers you so much.
