Yup, Put everything into high performance mode with all the vsync off from D3D and OpenGL.........

IMHO i like to leave Vsync on, then everything looks better because there is no horizontal tearing. most games the performance will not suffer unless it is alreayd borderline running soothly.

People who boast about their UBER high bench scores always post with the MINIMUM settings possible. Cept in AquaMark3, I think some default settings include detailed textures.

If folks were truely [H]ardcore, they'd post their scores with MAX eye candy on. My sig used to say:

Real Benchmark Scores: [3DMark2001 - 9466] [3DMark2003 - 2091] [AquaMark3 - 29,905] High Quality CP settings, 6xAA/16xAF @ 1024x768


That's the way to bench people. Just for shits and giggles try benching like that. Even 3DM2001 looks AWESOME with eye candy galore. And I don't care how good your graphics card is or how high your clock/memory speeds are, benching 3DM2003 with high quality settings and max AA/AF is gonna choke your card like a b!tch and leave it breathing heavy.

i put everything on balanced. i thought at was default settings..... i'll find out what my bench scores are next time i have 20 mins to run 2001 and 03.

edit: and 03 destroys my card w/ max settings.

mine flies through it with 5fps hahaha jk i havent' done it at full settings

better yet, i remember when i first got this card i compared it to a geforce 2 on and a geforce 4MX card in 2 other computer's i had, both pretty old, and get like 1/5 the scores this gets. it was nice watching a slide show of the Battle of Proxiecon on those systems.

everything maxed out @ 420/780(390x2) @ 3.4ghz w/ 285FSB.

1280x1024. 6xAA/16xAF. High quality Texture, High quality Mipmap, no vsync, App pref Truform.

doh, FSB was 284.(like that makes a big difference.) i should see if my 294FSB max helps(stable but prime fails after 45 mins).

Excel results damn, i gotta do some HDD cleaning(of my overly orginized HDD) as well.
