When will Ivy Bridge Xeon arrive?

Possible but I doubt it, given that sandy bridge xeon E5 CPU's have only just been released.

Don't confuse LGA1155 with LGA2011.

E5 (2011) have just been released, but E3 (1155) are out longer. IB Xeon is the successor of the E3. E5 successor would be IB-E, set for 2013.

I stand corrected, since i'm only looking at potential E5 2p systems as replacements for mine i had totally forgtton that E3 has been out a lot longer

Yeah there will be at least E3 and E5 Ivy Xeon,s and maybe they will do a refresh of the E7 line as well.

If you get lucky, you can already get your hands on some of them- Xeon E3 v2, i5 3550/3570K, i7 3770K for example. That leads me to believe the widespread launch will be within the next month or so. If you don't want a mainstream part, you may be waiting a bit longer.
