When will IE 7 be released?

March 12th, at 9:37:12 am Pacific Standard Time is my guess, but it's pretty hard to say because it's in beta and there is no release date for the final product :rolleyes:

You do realize that bumping your own threads, especially with an attitude, only pisses people off? Especially when 99% of your threads can be answered on your own with a simple google search?

In the future, ask a serious question, and give people a chance to respond.

The important thing to know is you can have Opera 8.51 goodness right now.

Cmon people, he asked about when Explorer 7 was going to be released, not what browser is better. This thread might as well be closed since a link is already posted on the HardOCP "[H]ardNews 10th Edition".

Opinion: Install "Avant Browser" for IE and you'll have the main features of IE7. Just like people are loyal to FireFox and Opera, I'm loyal to Avant Browser.
 
If Any one of you attended the Microsoft Ready to Launch event for Visual Studio 2005, you would have gotten a dvd with Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1 and Windows Mobile 5.0

What is with this thread?

The IE7 public preview comes out in January. IE7 final should be out by next summer.

that's stupidly narrow minded - I happen to know that there are some great programmers working on IE7 and it will be an excellent browser - you know nothing

besides, I've used vista beta with IE7 beta and it was a quality browser

You still have to admit that it's playing catch up, and many if it's new features are already available elsewhere. By the way, the moment you tell someone else they know nothing, you're only stooping to the same ignorance level you're accusing the other person of being at.
