Ok i have been reading how great SATA HD are & how much better they are at data tranfer over PATA. So when can i see a DVD buner or any optical drive with SATA. I looking at building a new system this year & trying to get a feel for when PATA will be no more. Thx
 
I can run an optical drive via SATA using ABIT serillel...It's buggy, and doesn't really change much, but it's still an optial drive on SATA :p
