Hi everyone,

I am after a quad core 6300 or 6400 and wondering when will these
cpus are coming out? Im going to upgrade in a month or two, but the cpu
is holding me of, as I am looking at the P5B-E board, 4 x 1gig of ram
and the 8800 card for know. Should I wait and buy everything together
or buy parts here and there for know?

well, it wont happen for awhile IMO.

Quad Core right now is limited to what you see now and it will be awhile yet before cheaper quad core comes out (probably summer or so). For now just get that setup with a e6300 or e6400 and pop in a Quad Core if needed when it comes out :)

If I bought the e6300 or e6400 know and a motherboard, the motherboard might not
support the Quad cpus when I buy the quad down the track?

if a mobo supports core2 duo, then a bios update sould make it compatible with a quad core without any problems
