Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hi,
I have an AMD Phenom II X2 550 that I unlocked one of the extra cores so it's an X3(fourth core is bad). Right now I have the thermal paste that came on the heatsink, but should I remove that and put some AS5 on it?
If you are talking about replacing the paste on the stock HS with something else...I doubt your going to see much change, stock HS's are not made to handle OCing, you need to be looking at an aftermarket HS and not just TIM replacement.
