I'm so busy rite now, in the middle of customing my PC n trying to keep up with computer news, but somewhere i must be lost, when is Intel releasing it new processors with 1333fsb, is that in November or before and what are the codenames of the Proc's. I keep hearing all these names thrown out everyday, jus confusing me rite now cuz i'm so busy, thanks.

The 1333FSB processors have already been released. Do you mean the Yorkfield CPU's? With your current computer, I'd rather not wait.

1333 FSB chips have already been released.

Unless you're referring to "Penryn", that's a few months away still.

I heard after the Penryn CPUs launch they will start making something new, so you should just wait for that. I know, it's unusual.

After something comes out another thing will come out... It's an ongoing cycle. You will find yourself waiting for some new technology then you're about to buy it then you decide to wait more for something else.. and blah.. I'd say you don't need to wait to build a new rig unless the new thing thats coming out is within a month.

you mean nehalem?

with a system like the OPs, i think even waiting for penryn is a stretch given the performance increase even a e4300/e4400 will provide with a mild OC

thanks for the info, best to buy a Q6600 rite now, but for god sake, you think Nvidia would come out with a new chipset beyond the 680i or that someone would rite drivers to use Nvidia video cards in the P35 or X38 chipset cuz who wants to use ATI rite now
