When do the February Catalyst drivers come out?

For my Vista install, I downloaded the new and improved Catalyst drivers already last month. I read somewhere that the same improvements for the Vista drivers, will also be in the february XP drivers. The January 9.1 drivers came out on the 10th, here we are on the 20th of February, and still no 9.2?

Am I missing something?

The main improvements were the faster more streamlined control panel. I don't think there was much along the lines of performance gains etc. Vista on the other hand should be getting the new AFR Crossfire options that XP got last month.

Yes...my bad...7.

And yes, I know that it's mainly an improvement of the control thingy, but it sure needs it, the damn thing takes forever to come up.

I was just wondering why they came out on the 10th last month and nothing yet so far. Aren't they usually on schedule?

Well, guess I'll wait and find out soon enough.

Thanks!

Ok....this is great....all I am getting after downloading the whole suite was CCC - Basic, with which you can do nothing but change your resolution? Am I missing something here? Where all those other goodies ATI talks about in their release notes?

It sure starts up faster, but hell, there's nothing to adjust either!

Switch to the advanced view. Under View, check > Advanced View. All there is too it.

These drivers rawk!!

Yeah I was looking for something like that...but there's not anywhere!! In Add and Remove Programs, the CCC is listed as being 0.02 MB big??? Is that normal?

No. Not normal. Uninstall, redownload, reinstall.

I'm having the same problem, no ability to switch to advanced :( . I'm re-downloading, hope that works

Release Notes said:
Gains of up to 25% in Doom 3, 48% in Quake 4 and 21% in Prey can be seen on a variety of ATI Radeon™ X1000 cards.
Wow, nice!

Still nothing on the Oblivion HDR adapt speed issue. I guess I'll try to contact them again.

nope it didn't work.
I do see the installer erroring out in the Application Event Log
"Product: Catalyst Control Center Graphics Full Existing -- Error 1327.Invalid Drive: D:\"

I don't have a drive D: my Optical drives start at E:

And success, made a D: drive from unpartitioned space on my hard drive and then ran the ccc-graphics-full-existing.msi and it seems to work fine.

I get the exact same error message. Why the hell would it want to install in drive D? I don't have any unpartioned space left to make a D drive...grrr.

I have the exact same error, wtf? I don't have the time to repartition my drive just for this.

Same error here. Drivers work fine though, just can not access CCC. 64 bit drivers and 64 bit Vista Business.

So besides repartitioning my harddrive to have a D: drive, is there any other way to get this damn thing installed right?
