That making money at any cost is a quality that Apple shares with the former, hence making it off of people's esteem, like diet products.

Frankly, Apple is the diet product calling Windows users fat, and it disturbs me that people give more credence to Job's than someone like the Sham Wow guy, just another guy trying to sell you a duplication of tools you already have.

exactly. About when high school computer labs and classes consisted of Macs. And we found out that the PC's could do so much more, like play Quake.
