For comparing GPU's and video card specs, one card against another.
 
Game Debate for specific games, GPU Check for general specs and comparisons. I'm always looking for good comparison sites, so I'll be interested to hear which others suggest.
 
I like UserBenchmark for what I'm looking for. Particularly the "bang for the buck" option. That's how I shop these things anyway.
The Passmark site is good, but it's all raw data. I have to do the work to compare the cards I'm thinking of. While probably the best way to do it, I'm looking for the easy way out.
I haven't bothered looking at cards the last couple years (for some reason) but checking in now. My old links are all broken.

I just lookup reviews and real benchmarks.

Even if they are a few gens apart you can typically find a modern card with ~equivalent performance to compare.
 
Techpowerup.com for a macro comparison, then specific card reviews from websites like theFPSreview.com
 
TechPowerUp GPU database for raw comparisons of the specs between cards. Also good for PCB shots on many cards that they review, which I find helpful as a water-cooler.
