I built this computer about a year ago for my sister. All she uses it for is internet browsing, MS Office and iTunes. When I first built it, it worked just fine. After about six months it started locking up; lots of BSOD's, each one with a different error message. My first step was to wipe the HDD and do a clean install of Windows. That worked for a couple of days then it went right back to BSOD's. Next, I removed all the RAM and ran the computer for a full day on each pieces or RAM - one piece of RAM a day - and never had any problems. I was trying to rule out if a particular piece of RAM was bad but they all seemed to work fine individually. Having decided the actual RAM was OK, I put two pieces back in, in dual channel, and ran the computer. It started freezing again. So, I went back to testing each piece and it still freezes. Now I'm at the point where no matter what I do, it freezes, only this time it just locks up, no BSOD's. I am at a loss. Any ideas as to what is wrong with this thing? At this point, I am thinking the mobo is bad but I'm not certain. Thanks for any in-sight!
