What heatsink and fan are you using? How many case fans? Are those temps at idle or full load? Also how warm is it in that room? I know my PC runs about 5C cooler in the winter. The system temp seems perfectly fine, the CPU temp is a little bit hot, but its perfectly fine (assuming those temps are at full load). I'd recommend better cooling only if you plan on doing some overclocking
Also, what CPU do you have? This can make a HUGE difference. With my Athlon XP1900+ and the stock HSF my cpu ran at over 160F! With my new X2 and the stock HSF it ran at about 110-120

I am using the stock HSF and have a Thermaltake Tsunami case with front and side intake fans and an exhaust fan on the back. Those temps are at idle. It can get pretty warm in this room when the sun beats down on the window every late afternoon/evening, but the temps i listed are when the room is not hot.
My cpu is an AMD 64 3200+ Venice, why do you say 33 isn't a good temp?? i thought that was a pretty low number, every other computer i've owned had a cpu temp of 45-55. As for the system temp i did manage to reduce it by about 5 degrees today, i put a small fan in the bottom of the case leaning towards the chipset and now the temp is 41 instead of 46.

Your mobo/system sensor is actually your CPU and your cpu sensor is actually your system one. ie your CPU is 46C, which is a pretty good temp (and 41 is quite good for the stock HSF). The exact same thing happens to me, and many other people

Mine ran around 47-49C until yesterday, when I put a Panaflo 86.5CFM fan on my memory to actively cool it down...the air seems to split at the angle I have it and hit the memory/CPU/chipset/PWMIC, and everything runs cooler now. My Chipset is running 41C idle now, CPU is 30C idle, and PWMIC is 33C idle...but I'd have another 5-6C on my chipset without that fan moving the air around.
But the high 40s is still fine for your chipset. But lower is always better.
