i just updated to the new nforce drivers, and i went to do windows update after and in the drivers section there this "Advanced Micro Devices processor software update released Decembeer 17 2002" its 31KB. ive never seen this before, what is this?
 
yah but its weird, before i ever did the nforce 2 update from nvidia, that update was never available to download.
 
It's because windowsupdate thinks it has a better driver than you installed. The same thing happens whenever I update to the new detnators drivers for video -- the basic drivers appear on windowsupdate.

Bottom line: don't get them.
