Alrighty, I just bought a new Shuttel system but I'm having buyers remorse (esp. after seeing all these Q-Packs.... I didnt really research the SFF scene before I bought)

Heres what I have coming:
SN25P Barebones
Opteron 148 (I've heard its got a good stepping though)
1GB G.Skill 2GBHZ 4000 (DDR 500) ram
Maxtor 200 GB 16MB Cache ATA133 IDE drive
Geforce 6600LE 256 mb
NEC 3540A DVD RW

whats this thing worth?
 
Maybe $350-400, at most. The 6600LE was a bad call, but the rest is okay. I don't see why everyone is against the ata hard drive; the SN25p can run it fine and it leaves the SATA wide open for future expansion. Given the option though, you should have gone SATA, but I do not think it takes away from the price much. The fact that it is a Maxtor does a bit though :p
 
If I was to replace that drive with one of the ones I have leftover from my old tower would that increase the resale value?

I have:

2x Western Digital Caviar RE WD2500YS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s

1x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology) 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

1x Samsung SP2504C 250 GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache

or

1x Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD5000KSRTL 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s

their all SATA, I'm starting to think I should have stuck with my old tower :-/

Totally disagree on that. I just updated my SN25P rig and it is still a good
machine for at least another year or so. Having the latest and greatest
does not always make it obsolete or useless.

Stick a better vid card and processor in there and you have a nice setup.
I can play all the latest games at almost top settings and do tons of
TV, video and DVD's. See sig.

He has some parts that need updating, thats all.

How is "no" an answer to what is it worth?

Too late to return everything? What's your budget? How much did it cost? Figure 75% of whatever you paid for it, if you bought it all within the last month.

Really it's fine, but if you game I would upgrade the vid card.
 
I was wondering that too, "no" was a peculiar answer but I thought we'd go with it.

I paid about $400 for it, I was making sure I didnt get ripped off, it was mostly an impulse buy
