Hi everyone, I just set up my new system recently and it won't start up...strange actually i did everything accordingly here's my full sys specs:

AMD 1700+ Tbred w/ L12 mod & SLK-900A w/ AS5
ABit NF7-S Rev 2
Mushkin PC3500 Level II 1 GB RAM
1-40GB WD400JB
1-120GB Maxtor
1-Lite-On DVD-ROM
1-Lite-On CDRW
Sunbeam Rheobus with 5-80mm Cooler Master Fans
Antec True430
Kingwin KT436
SBLive! 5.1 sound
ATi 9700 Pro AIW
That's all i think is in my system.

Now here's the problem: As soon as i turn the power supply ON the RED LED on the NF7 lights up bright red no problem. My LAN even lights up. Then I go to hit the power button and FLASH one quick flash of my fans LED's turning on then the comp just stops there...on for like a split second...Anyone have suggestions as to WTH is going on with my comp? I'm going to go and try out only using the bare minimum then report back.

So I unplugged everything except for the HDD and still no luck

Did you bork the L12 mod on your CPU? Can you swap a CPU with one of your friends to see if that's the problem?

Try another cpu? hmm I was thinking about it but it's kind of a hassle...I guess it's the only real way to tell whether or not the system actually works....gonna try that out right now

Ok, I just swapped in my Barton 2500 and still nothing...I'm a tad bit worried....hope fully i didn't fry a part on my comp...what could be the problem?

Finally i've come across the problem...my vidcard managed to die on me and i dont know how... :\ Maybe static when i was touching and moving it over....anyhow time for an RMA
