I've currently got my 2.4C at 3.2Ghz in my Shuttle XPC, I've got it at 1.45v, it reads at 1.42v in the windows with MBM5. Dropping it that 0.1v dropped my idle temp 1C and load temp about 2C.
(Before: 39 idle, 62-63load, After 38 idle, 60-61load)

I might play with it some more tonight, but I thought that was damn good to be doing an 800Mhz overclock at 0.1v UNDER stock voltage.

This is the same chip that I used to run at 3.6Ghz at 1.575v in my main rig.
And it would do about 3.45Ghz at default.

I was plotting some of the Mhz/voltages that I knew worked to see if I could come up with a formula for the approximate curve of voltage per Mhz for this chip. Maybe to maximize my Mhz and keep the computer really cool too.

Just curious how low some of you may have dropped your voltages and at what Mhz.

My main concern is to keep the fans from speeding up often. (using SmartFan in BIOS)

had sometimes ago mobile celeron running with passive intel inbox cooler :)
it was prime stable at that speed and voltage and cooling..
though it's mby ot, because it's not overclocked..
afaik it needed 1v for 2.5ghz and 1.2v for 3ghz.. don't remember :(
