I have these 2 items

Sb Audigy 2 Platinum I bought for around $120 from a friend

SB Audigy regular for $37 at frys

I want to know if I should just use the Audigy and sell the audigy 2 platinum, or is there a big difference in using the audigy 2 fromt he audigy, I need to know, as I will be using it for gaming such as DC, bf1942 and bfVietnam and CS, dod, and possibly others, lmk what the difference is here guys, I appreciate ur help

A plain Audigy has markedly lower sound quality than any Audigy 2. It also has no real 24/96 support because it is all downsampled, whereas the Audigy 2 can actually run 24/96 as long as no DSP effects are working.
