Whats the difference here

weird the one with 1000:1 seams larger even if it's the same size... probably just an image illusion.... anyway.... with the one with 1000:1 you'll get a better contrast ratio, which means better blacks. Weird thing is that the "best" one is the cheaper...

The WG is a new model, but is pretty much the same thing except better contrast, and it's cheaper.. get it ;)
 
Maybe they're different panels. The more expensive one has more colours and wider viewing angles it seems.
 
What about the the 5ms GTG vs just 5ms, the 16.7 m colors against the 16.2 and the active matrix. The gamer 800:1 contrast one has all those better features

16.7m colors is better. The response times, take them with a grain of salt, but either should be plenty fast, at least for an LCD.
 
Ok thats cool lol. But whats the better of the two taking the differences in account.

The only thing the non gamer has is 1000:1 contrast
The gamer has 16.7m colors and a wider viewing angle
