Whats the difference between these cards???

I can only find this one on the XFX site:

XFX PVT40KND Video Card - Retail

And I cant find this one anywhere but the egg.

XFX PVT40KNDD3 Video Card - Retail

The only physical difference I can see is the second one has some kind of rail on the top spine. Anyone know what the deal is with these cards other than the cheaper shipping?

Stat wise they look the same. Not sure what that rail thing is all about. By the name it would almost sound like one is using DDR and the other is using DDR3 but I dont think agp cards do ddr3?

well it almost sounds like someone is messing around at the egg, or with it. The DD3 card when originally listed was posted as a "GT". But then it was later changed to its current.

There are agp cards with gddr3 but that isn't one of them, at least not by its stats.

Over time companies release cards with different software packages and they have different part numbers.

They are often listed seperately for sale since they are not the exact same package.

The only difference there is that one of them doesn't come with games.

one of them have 750mhz the speed of memory and the other have 700 and belive me my friend have one and the stock speed of the memory is 750
