As stated in title whats the best temperature read program for your CPU because the Asusprobe program that came with my mobo isnt reading my cpu temp correctly cause its 5-7degrees cooler than what is read on my bios. Any suggestions?

A temp reading app is only as good as the board/CPU thermal probes/thermistors which I'm sorry to say are notoriously inaccurate. They are good for referrencing changes in your system's temps, but not so much for comparing to others.

alright thanks for your input guys. I tried out Motherboard monitor 5 and there wasnt a way to turn off the taskbar thing. The only problem i have with the Asus probe i have is that it only reads the Cpu socket temp. when i checked 2 other programs it shows that was my cpu socket temp too. and my Cpu diode temp was about 5-7degrees hotter. My question is can those programs run in the background so i can check temps whenever as apposed to launching the whole program :p
thanks!
