well, that's probably one of the bigger setbacks to myth... First its on linux which is extremly well suited to the application of a HTPC but its not very user friendly. Second myth is a multi step setup processes which can make things rather difficult to somone new. Lastly Myth depends on other software to run such as Mysql, which is a tottally diffrent setup. All that being said with some guided help i'm sure anyone tech savy can get a myth box together with little problem. knoppmyth will setup all this for you.
