my friend is getting a new mobo, and will be overclocking his e6550 im wondering should i go with one of the ddr3 hybrid boards he will be running 4 gigs of ram and a hd 4830 with his e6550 any one have any suggestions? cheaper the better.
cheap is no problem but sadly on the cheap\medium cheap mobos they all ways skimp on the heat sinks.my self i all ways deal with the northbridge heat sink if i can and or add a fan to it .
im not big on 50c+ northbridge temps.
ddr3 is cheap atm and its not worth thinking about dd2 unless you have some leftover from a older system as for chip-sets everyone seems to like Intel p43~45 so i guess just join the bandwagon.
and id stay away from the 60$ mobos .$100 ish + tax gets you something decent.
you got any preferences on what company's you like ?
