Whats the best 17" LCD for gaming?

If I were going to buy one right now, I would go with the 16ms Planar 17", but only because they can be had for ~$350+S/H on Ebay.

I'm not sure if any 12ms panels are out yet.

NEC LCD1760V-BK 17" LCD Monitor

In my opionion it is the BEST 17" monitor for gaming. I bought one for my wife for christmas. I wish I had gotten it for myself, Hah. Games like Halo, and whatnot look amazing. 16ms refresh rate like you want.

I second the NEC LCD1760-V. I have 3 of them. Couldn't be happier.

I thought those NEC 1760V only came in analog..


I thought b/c of that they wouldn't be good for gaming. Am i Wrong?

I have the Hitachi CML175SXW. http://shop.monitorsdirect.com/product.asp?sku=2359465. I'm very happy with it. It has both digital and analog inputs as well as integrated speakers that don't sound too shabby either. It has a 16ms response and I have played aot of different material on it from DVD movies to FPS games to arcade games and have not noticed any ghosting. If you go to the site above, they also have some cool tools to setup and check your monitor with.
