I might have searched for wrong words but couldn't find it. What's needed for 3D? Any monitor or TV that can do 120hz, 3D glasses and 3d supported videocard? or are there specific monitor instead of just 120hz?

Thanks

Most TVs that say they support 120hz or are 120hz tv's dont actually work for 3D b/c they take 60hz input and upscale it to 120hz or take 30hz input and upscale it. Most 240hz TVs are the same-idea. Most 600hz sub-drive plasma tvs...same-thing.

You'd need a 120hz tv to 240hz tv that actttually supports 120hz incoming signal which makes them 3d-ready basically and you'll see that advertised on the tv itself. Aka a 3D tv. So if you bought your tv before this year, there is about a 98% chance are it isn't 3D as most of the tv's supporting 120hz input didn't come out until this year.

Now, I know you specifically posted this in Nvidia but before investing in 3D I'd advise you to consider waiting about a month. Mostly b/c in October we have the 68xx line releasing and among the specs included blu-ray 3d playback support and ATI HD3D? I'm not exactly sure what their 'High Definition 3D' refers to or what hardware companies/methods its supports but if its less proprietary than nVidia's solution you may be able to potentially get 3D going cheaper by going red.

One of several supported games. There are quite a few.

If you want to use Nvidia 3D Vision, then you will obviously need an Nvidia card. I would recommend at least a GTX 285 as 3D games are more demanding than running in 2D. Also, your choice of monitor is very important. Its not just about the 120Hz buzz-word. There are many HDTVs that claim 120Hz-240Hz but its bogus marketing BS and they just interpolate a 60Hz signal. It needs to be 3D-ready 120Hz.. You do have some choices, though. You can see a list of compatible displays here:

Notice some of the original 120Hz LCDs don't support 3D Blu-Ray so watch out. Also note you will need either Vista or Windows 7 to play 3D games (XP is NOT supported and never will be). Also, 3D Blu-Ray playback with PowerDVD 10 *only* supports Windows 7. A little annoying but such is life.

Another option to look at is the Zalman Trimon 3D monitor, which does support ATI or Nvidia cards and also works on XP (in addition to Vista and 7). The Zalman works with a micro-polarizer attached to the screen, so you can wear light passive glasses (like in the movie theater). However this cuts the resolution in half (when in 3D mode) so the quality is not as sharp as with 3D Vision. I have the Zalman and I like it, but if you are new to 3D you might have an easier experience on Nvidia 3D Vision.
