I recently bought a new motherboard (Asus ASUS A7N8X-X) 1gb Corsair Memory, a 120gb Maxtor Harddrive, Leadtek Geforce6800LE, and a Barton xp3000.

The problem is that almost everytime i unpack a lot of files or I try to install big files I get a error saying the file is corrupt.

I tried to underclock the CPU to only a 133mhz front side buss and the problem went away.
Is my problem the CPU, or harddrive or something else. I have good cooling on the cpu so I dont know if thats the problem.
Have the latest bios och latest drivers. Win xp pro is my OS. Have reformatted several times.

Any tips would be appreciated.

What are you ram timings? and, have you checked for errors in your memory? Have you taken out 1 stick and left in the other? Have you ran prime95?
