What's holding back my PC ?

What's holding back my machine? I'm trying to run oblivion (Old game!) in what I would assume is highest settings, and I'm still getting some lag/delay and bad viewing distance...

ASUS M4A78T-E 790GX AM3 Motherboard
4 GB RAM
XFX RADEON 6870
1TB 7200 RPM HDD

that machine is overkill for oblivion. try using the oblivion tweak guide: http://www.tweakguides.com/Oblivion_1.html

haha i just did this... was like, "how the fuck is there lag in this old-ass game!!" I had to tweak the shit out of oblivion in order to get it to run smooth.

It sounds like the 64hz bug to me. It seems like most people don't notice it somehow.

You are going to need OBSE and Oblivion stutter remover to get rid of that.

Its always been an issue. Most people just don't notice it somehow.
