happens occasionally in lineage2. i've never had a game that stressed my graphics card before, so that may be it. (9700 non-pro)

occasionally happens in open, but generally when it happpens, it's in an area where there's fire, or mist in the air or something. atmospheric effects.

think it could be the GPU getting too hot? i havent opened the system up in 6 months, could have a fair cake of dust on it.

i made a quicktime movie of it.. only thing my camera would do. sorry bout the large download, but hey, it's my bandwidth :p

I'm going to suggest that you cleen out your case and start inspecting your video card tempurature.


Also, check and see if there have been any other known problems with Lineage 2 on the ATi 9700 cards.
